Purple is love. Yes, I admit that I buy more purple eye shadows than any other color. It seems like purple is making a comeback this fall as they're seen in many fashion shows & professional photo shoots.
Other than purple, I share as much love for mineral pigments and I have tried many great colors from different companies.
One of the best MMU company that sells matte pigments in particular is Taylor Made Minerals but I was having a hard time making the pigment stick to my lid. Well, my wait is over because today I paired them up with Mehron Paradise Aqua Color Palette and they stick on it like a lovebirds during mating season. Other than TMM, I used some of shimmers from EG Minerals (love!) and Simply Naturals.
Here are the product used for this look
Mehron Pastel color, I used the light purple one......yes, the one with Homer on it lol.
Taylor Made Minerals Iris (main lid)
Taylor Made Minerals Coral (above crease)
EG Minerals Deep Royal Purple (crease)
EG Minerals Cascading Angels (outer corner)
Simply Naturals Creamsicle (tearduct)

DIY Nail Polish: Green Peas
A crafty side of me kicked in again this week, I have a clear nail polish that is just sitting unused at the back of my drawer, so I was like, hmmm what can I do to you?
So I decided to play around with colors! Using my Simply Natural's pigment in Fern which is a gorgeous matte leaf green (can't you tell I have an impulse buying for green pigments?), I made a green polish by mixing it with the clear polish.
I am not confident enough to make the whole batch and make a new polish, or as nail gurus out there say, "Franken" it (from Frankenstein), so I just mix on each application.
What I did was I pour a little bit of clear polish on a container, sprinkle some pigments (small amount is usually enough) mix it with a brush, and apply directly on nails.
I named it GREEN PEAS because it reminds me of them and this is how it looks like

EOTD: Popsicle
Happy Weekend, everybody!
Can you believe I spent almost 5 minutes to think of an appropriate greetings to open this post with? I wanted to go with "Yo yo yo" but I left my grillzzzz at home. LOL
Anyway, Christmas is 2 months away!!! I love Christmas, it's my fav holiday. Speaking of Christmas, do you know Santa Claus is a pimp? "Ho ho ho", not just 1 ho, but THREE!! holy mother of ho !
hey, yo yo yo and ho ho ho sounds great together, see? Pimpin' Santa :D
*insert awkward silence here*
I was bored today and played around with some matte pigments I haven't used for a long time, these are from my favorite MMU companies (yessss Whitney, I'll get to your tag soon, babe!) that offers awesome selections for mattes. As much as I love sparkly piggies, matte always wins my heart.
I used Creamsicle from Simply Natural's on my lid & highlight and Throne, a gorgeous WHAM-BAM purple from Taylor Made Minerals for outer corner and crease. Yup, just 2 pigments for the whole look.
Aren't they gorgeous? It reminds me of grape & orange popsicle LOL
Funny enough Creamsicle shows up very natural on my lid, like it blends in with my skin color. First time I received it I was kinda intimidated by it's bright pop-op color and thought it would be hard to pull off, but I guess I was wrong hehehe.
So what I used:
- L'oreal De-crease (base)
- Creamsicle (lid & brow bone to highlight)
- Throne (outer V, crease, lower lash line)
- L'oreal HiP Eggplant Creme Eyeliner
- NYX Doll Eye Mascara
I didn't blend the Throne well (I'm lack of patient hehehe) but you got the idea = )
Toodles !!!

EOTD: Smokey Jewel Blue
I played around with my Amuse palette I got from Cherry Culture a while back and decided to do a smokey blue. People say brown eyes can't pull off blue eyeshadow, I'd say SCREW YOU! LOL... If it doesn't, make'em!
I used Blueberry pigments wet as a base, and apply the dark blue e/s all over my lid, an used the light blue e/s over the lid and MAC Blacktied on V corner to deepened the outer corner. Basically trying to create a gradation of blue from dark to light, from lid goes up to crease.
Used:
- Simply Natural's Blueberry pig. (wet, all over lid)
- Amuse Palette Dark Blue (all over lid, water line)
- Amuse Palette Light Blue (crease, blended out with highlight)
- Amuse Palette Pear White (highlight)
- NYX Doll Eye Mascara
- L'oreal HiP Black Creme Eyeliner

EOTD: Simply Natural's Muddy Green & Haul
Sorry for being MIA for a while : ) I've been preparing stuffs for my upcoming trip, what to bring & what to buy hehehe I'm so excited! My bf's older brother who is in army is graduating from his Medical school, so me, bf, and his parents are gonna go to North Carolina for 10 days and gonna stop by Las Vegas on the way there. I'm kinda bummed to know we will only spend 1 day in Vegas due to the tickets, I mean...c'mon...it's Vegas! I only have 2 eyes and 2 legs...and I wanna see everything! >.<>>
So here some EOTDs I did using mostly Simply Natural's pigments I bought a while ago, the colors I used are Fern and Desert. Fern is a gorgeous matte green, I adore this color. All pigments are applied dry.
Used:
- Simply Natural's Fern (all over lid, lower lash line)
- Simply Natural's Desert (outer lid, crease, lower lash line)
- TMM Crook (outer V & crease)
- NYX Lash Out Doll Eye Mascara
I ran out of my Burt's Bees No Tear Baby Shampoo (yes I'm using baby shampoo LOL) so I went to Longs to pick up a bottle, but I changed my mind and got the Green Tea & Fennel Seed one's instead. The reason is I noticed I use A LOT of shampoo because my hair is super long, and the baby shampoo is very liquidy plus it's only 8 oz, so I ran out very quick, although I love what it does to my hair, it's not very cost effective and I still want to try other natural shampoos. This Green Tea & Fennel Seed one is 12 oz and the consistency is thicker. It smells LOVELY but I can't really describe it : P it's very fresh that's for sure.
(don'tcha think the shampoo tube's color match my eye? ^_^)
Then I did the thing that anyone should never do at the stores if you already got what you came for.
STROLL AROUND.
therefore I had to pay my price, my hungry eyes could not resist the 50% sale of Rimmel Lipstick, so I snatched one called "undressed". how naughty is that? hehe
I'm a sucker for a cute packaging and this pinky sleek tube screamed for attention. I gave in.
I saw the infamous "Airy Fairy" but when I tried it on it looked ho-ish on me. I hate it when that happens and boy lemme tell you it happens a lot.... I think I'm cursed.
HE-NEE-WAY...this is how it looks like in the tubes

a pretty coral nude color, and it's only $2.70 !!!

seriously, I think my lippies tripled since I started this blog.
I shd stop.
someday
lol
oh and another stuffs I got is just a fold-up mirror since my stand up one fell down on my head & broke....
AHHHHHH that's why I'm cursed !!!

EOTD: Blueberry Hot Pink
My laptop broke down : (
well, it's not actually the motherboard that was shut down, it's the AC Adapter.
Now I have to find a replacement, most probably online, since I'm using DELL.
Anyone knows the cheapest place? argh I hate shipping tho T_T
anyway, enuff ranting
I did EOTD using my Simply Natural's pigment in Blueberry. Initially I was planning to do smoky eyes but throughout the application I decided to change it up hehehe.
Here they are:
- L'oreal De-Crease (not shown) as a base
- NYX Hot Pink (inner - middle lid, inner lower lashline)
- Simply Natural's Blueberry (outer corner, crease, lower lash line)
- Cover Girl - White (highlight)
- Simply Natural's Blueberry (foiled w/ mixing medium as an eyeliner -it works pretty good, I was pretty surprise myself ^^-
- Maybelline Lash Stylist mascara
Amy Winehouse, anyone?
LOL
Omaigod I had no idea those mini Lumi Lips is that tiny !!! I can't believe they cost me $3.00 each....
When my bf saw these on my hands he asked:
"Woooow, where's your gun, woman?" (-_-")
it does look like bullets, doesn't it? LOL
I got Tahitian Coral, Jamocha, and Oh La La.
I love them all, I only have tried Tahitian Coral and it showed up very pretty, a pink coral with gold shimmer : )
For those of you who have this mini lumi lips, I have a question...how long these itty bitty tubes last on you? thanx in advance!
Peppermint Patti's color in the pic reminds me of Lemongrass Cleanser hehehehe
I haven't tried it tho, but it does look nice with the green specks.
K that's it from me tonight : ) hope you guys enjoy, HAPPY MONDAY !!!
*kiss hugs & all that*
