Haul: Bissy's Boutique $1.75 Body Spray

Ahhhhh good smelling things, why do I love thee?

I hauled from Bissy's Boutique about 2 weeks ago when they were having a $1.75 Body Spray sale. I'm a huge fan of spray-on bottle, I'm one of those weird people who have to bathe on their

perfume LoL Nah, just joking. I just don't feel a perfume roll-on is enough for me.

I always like Bissy's Boutique, and have talked to Dina (owner) multiple times. She's one of those seller you feel comfortable right off the bat. Bissy's has probably one of the best customer service as you actually can request scent although it's not available in the site, Dina will look for it...she's cool like that.

Anyway, I got 6 of Body Sprays (which I've already had in the past, Bissy's Body Sprays is just as strong as EDP), and I told Dina I couldn't make up my mind in the last scent because both Beach Daisies and You Are My Sunshine sound awesome. Later she kindly INCLUDED both of them in my order O.O

The new bottles are so sleek! They're dark & tall...........just like my taste of men. Mwahahaha

Here are the scents I ordered

Grapefruit Noel
(Pink Grapefruit + Vanilla Bean Noel Type)

Pink Lemonade Noel
(Fresh squeezed lemons and sugar, with just a hint of sweet and fluffy cotton candy + Vanilla Bean Noel Type)

Blackberry Fizz
(This fragrance begins with aldehydic fruity notes of blackberry, strawberry, and pomegranante, citrus middle notes of mandarin, grapefruit, and lime, with a base note of bamboo)

You Are My Sunshine
(Orange Flower, Marigold, Mums, Valencia Orange)

Mandarin Coconut
(Mandarin, Star Fruit, Mango, Coconut, Vanilla)

Lemon Chiffon
(Lemon, Sugared Grapefruit, Brown Sugar, Honey, Vanilla)

Beach Daisies
(Lemongrass, Daisy, Gardenia)

My thoughts:

• Grapefruit Noel: This is supposed to be the best seller and I have to agree, it lives up to the rave, it's tart, sour, but girly. I like it alot.
• Pink Lemonade Noel: The Vanilla Bean Noel is stronger in this, and simply a 50/50 blend of a fresh squeezed icey cold Pink Lemonade & sweet Vanilla Bean Noel.
• Blackberry Fizz: For some reason I got some BBW Iced Tea Twist from this, and it's added by a dark & ripened blackberry note. This is really fruity and would be awesome for summer.
• You Are My Sunshine: Orange is definitely the key note and it smells so fresh, but YAMS is much more than a simple orange scent, there's this gorgeous spring-y white flower background note that rounds up and makes it more grown up and feminine.
• Mandarin Coconut: This is delicious, a gorgeous blend of tart mandarine orange, mango, vanilla and coconut. Very summery.
  
• Lemon Chiffon: Ok this smells EXACTLY like CYS Lemon Marshmallow Wafer on me (which is great), I'll let it sit for a while but if it still smells identical, it will go up for swap. I love it but I don't need two =P
• Beach Daisies: It reminds me a lot of some Pikake flowers to make Leis, but when I checked the note it's Lemongrass, Daisy, and Gardenia. Anyway, it's very feminine & soft flower, I love this one.

Can't you tell I'm so ready for summer? =P

My Evening Treat

It's October 15, a half month away to Halloween. Summer's air is long gone and I started collecting my fall scented fragrance......but dang it, Hawaii, why is it still scorching hot & humid? Poor kids who're gonna do trick & treating 'coz their chocolates candies would be fondue by the time they got home ...

While grunting and raising my fist to the empty sky I dug out my bakery shelf (read: the place I store all my bath & body products) and used these to brighten up my shower experience:



What I used are Philosophy Pumpkin Spice Muffin 3 in 1, Bissy's Boutique Pumpkin Crunch Noel Conditioner, Cleanse Your Soul Pumpkin Whipped Cream Roll-on and Rainforest Soap Shack Gourmet Sugar Cookies Body Frosting.

Yup, 3 pumpkin out of 4.

Here are the breakdown:

Philosophy makes great 3 in 1 although some of the scents are very generic to me *cough* Eggnog Latte *cough*. I love their Dark Chocolate, Mimosa, Caramel Apple, and Amazing Grace, although the price sometimes make my face scrunch. Now this pumpkin is a great pumpkin scent, just enough spice and not cloyingly sweet. It lathers wonderfully and the scent lingers, although it didn't come out as strong as in the shower. Really like it, I always showered 5 minutes longer whenever I use this one : )

I washed my hair with my regular Melaleuca Herbal Shampoo which smells like a fresh Green Apple (love it!) and it's my first time trying out the Pumpkin Crunch Noel conditioner from Bissy's Boutique that I got inside the Boo Bags. It smells a little less spicy compare to Pumpkin Spice Muffin because the pumpkin has been toned down by Vanilla Bean Noel blend. I adore the scent, the consistency is a bit weird, not too runy but not thick either, but it makes my hair feels sooo soft. The scent also lingers for hours. Another win from me.

CYS roll on that I got for free, my oh my, this Pumpkin Whipped Cream is so sweet, pumpkin scent is a bit heady and super sweet when first applied, but as it dries down, the scent seem to blend nicely and although people say this is supposed to be the least spicy pumpkin scent from CYS, I still think it's quite spicy, if not as spicy as Pumpkin Spice Muffin.

Are you tired of the word "Pumpkin" yet? lol

Well, RFSS Gourmet Sugar Cookies doesn't have pumpkin in it *I hear HAAAA-LELUYA!*, I got this cream as a freebies -which answers why the jar is so tiny- but somewhat this scent layered gracefully with those crazy pumpkin troops up there. The vanilla and cookie batter smells really believable, unlike most of Philosophy's cookies scents.

I went to bed smelling like pumpkin, whipped cream, vanilla, and cookie......not too bad huh?

Now if you excuse me I'll go turn on my air-con.

• Coconut Cream Cake: there's a faint sweet coconut smell, I believe this one needs to cure. ♥

• Cocoa Noel: it's delicious in the bottle, but on my skin there's this musty smell which I found in most of chocolate scent : ( ♥

• Blueberry Muffin: it opens with strong sweet-sour blueberry but it's not sickly sweet and it dries down to the best muffin scent ever. ♥

• Birthday Cake: YUM, a true cake scent...can smell the butter, sugar & everything! ♥

• Pomegranate Cream: this one people are raving about, and I'm glad I got this because the scent is very fresh, sweet & fruity. Love this. ♥

• Vanilla Insanity: this one is rather an 'interesting' vanilla because it has confiture de lait (sweet caramel sauce) and almond in it. not sure if I'm really crazy about this tho, so I'm gonna let it sit. ♥

Valerie's Uncommon Scents

I ordered an 8 Fl.Oz Dark Chocolate 3 in 1 along with several perfume oils and I've got to say this e-tailer is so underated! Her products are awesome, the scents are strong & nicely blended. Today I showered with the Dark Chocolate 3 in 1 and the entire bathroom smells like it.

• Dark Chocolate: I wanted this after I sampled Philosopy's version, it's the truest and darkest chocolate scent, no other notes, just pure dark chocolate. The only difference is Valerie's Dark Chocolate doesn't have a chocolate color (it's milky white) and the scent lasts longer! love this one a lot. Oh, and it's half cheaper ♥

• Cake Batter Ice Cream: this is the reason I ordered from her store (besides Dark Chocolate) and I'm not disappointed at all. Smells exactly like the cake batter ice cream at Cold Stone ♥
  

• Waffle Cone: omg, the most realistic crispy waffle scent...*dies in calories* ♥

• White Truffle Raspberry: honestly I'm quite surprise on how nice this one turns out because I was just trying it out. It's a yummy milky chocolate with a sour raspberry hint in the background. lovely! ♥

Swap

I receieved BITP Winter Candy Apple roll-on and GAP Dream-more in exchange to my MAC Prep+Prime which I no longer user. WCA smells yummy applelicious, just like the tart I've smelt in the same scent, and GAP Dream-more is OH MY LORD.........smells so divine! I like it much better than the Dream.


I'll be busy sniffin' this weekend!!! :D

Bissy's Boutique Boo Bags

What you're gonna do for Halloween?

Me? I'm not so sure yet, there's no party to attend so I guess I'll just sit tight & watch horror movies @ home. Btw I just finished watching the movie "Halloween" with Mike Meyers...I'd love to get his mask, that shit is scary..and he killed Tyra Banks! LOL

Anyway, couple days ago I ordered Boo Bags from Bissy's Boutique which comes out only once a year during Halloween. Boo Bags is basically a surprise bag, so it contains of bunches of stuff, but you can't choose the scent, you can kinda choose the category (foody/fruity/woody-musky/designer type/or surprise me) tho. The Boo Bags only costs 10 bucks and now that I received it, maaaan it's so worth it !

This would be my 1st order from Bissy's Boutique & I'm so pleased with the quality of the products and scents.

Boo Bag is such an awesome deal because if you calculate every items altogether, it should cost double.

Scent reviews:

1. FANTASY: A wonderful blend of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood with base notes of black cherries, strawberries, and elderberries.

Inan sez >> I only detect the musk & sandalwood with hint of vanilla, maybe the berries will appear once I let it cure. I love it tho, smells like baby powder.

2. FROSTED LIME CUPCAKE:
This fragrance begins with top notes of Persian lime and lemon zests; followed by middle notes of meringue; and well rounded with base notes of Royal vanilla icing and creamed cake.

Inan sez >> first sniff there's a very strong lemon scent, almost smell like Chinese medicine lol but then it starts to mellow down & the creamy cake scent starts to emerge. Lovely blend esp if you love true lime.

3. PEARAMEL:
Pearamel fragrance begins with top notes of granny smith apples, pears, and black cherries; followed by middle notes of caramel and maple sugar; and rounded out with base notes of buttercream and vanilla.

Inan sez >> this smells so fruity & caramel goodness, great balance & the blend smells really .....grown up *if that makes sense LOL*

4. PUMPKIN CRUNCH NOEL:
Amazing Fall blend of my Pumpkin Crunch and Vanilla Bean Noel.

Inan sez >> to die for! great pumpkin spice without being too sharp, I hate spicy pumpkin, this one is great, smells like my Pumpkin Spice Muffin from Philosophy, only creamier. Yum !

5. PEPPERMINT SPIN:
A mix of Vanilla Bean Noel, Jack Frost and Cotton Candy.

Inan sez >> a buttery sweet minty scent, never tried BBW Twisted Peppermint *which was supposed to be it's dupe* but this smells just right. Right amount of mint & vanilla.

6. GREEN APPLE CANDY: The aroma of juicy granny smith apples with nuances of strawberries, elderberries with a top note of 0zony cucumber.
Inan sez >> woahh apple! the truest sweet apple I've ever smelled...the roll on bottle kinda leaked a bit so the whole bag smells like this : )

7. BAMBOO ISLAND:
This is an amazing blend of lime, musk, lemongrass and vanilla. A very clean spa scent.

Inan sez >> I only got Lemongrass from it...maybe I should let it cure?
Overall: I love these scents & the products look great *haven't tried them* but they do look promising, and for 10 bucks....I can't ask for any better ^_^

Ahhhhh maybe my Halloween won't be so boring after all =P
