Product Review: Lure Beauty Sugar Scrub

Hey guys,

I'm gonna do a quick review on Lure Beauty Sugar Scrub which I purchased a while ago.
It's been 2 months since I started using it, so I think it's been enough time to pass some judgment : )

so here we go!

I purchased the one in Lick Me All Over (LMAO - pun intended hehe) and this is the scent description on Lure Beauty site:

Lick Me All Over: THIS ONE IS TOO HOT! There is no mistaking its exotic and seductive scent. Rich with notes of fruit and tropical paradise, you and your customers will love the alluring aroma of this trendy favorite. Perfect for exotic blends. Raspberry, Melon, Citrus with a slight floral note.

Consistency: If you're familiar with sugar scrub, this one is quite gentle. I tried salt scrub before and goodness me, it feels like shattered glasses! Ok maybe I'm exaggerating but this sugar scrub is very gentle on my skin, especially if my skin is wet, which is always the case, since I apply this in the shower after I soap. The scrub is very tiny (see pic below) and it dissolves into the skin after I buff around. Don't worry, although it's gentle, it does the great job exfoliating dead skin : )

Smell: Slurp. Yes, the lips with tongue picture on top of the jar is a perfect description of what I'd say about LMAO. I'm a fruit lover and this scent smells deliciously ruity. I noticed the watermelon right away, then the raspberry after I started scrubbing. Overall, it's a fruit paradise for me : )

Result: My skin feels soooooooooo smooth, smells soooooooooo good and refreshed. The smell does linger even after I got out of shower, so it's good in my book ^_^

I'm excited because the foody scents I chose sound so delicious and I can't wait to try them out. I've been using their Whipped Body Frosting in Pink Lime Sugar and I just love love love it.

The scent is just delicious, sweet with a crisp lime, I just keep sniffing my self. My bf also loves it, he said it makes him hungry for sweets hehehe

Onto my haul, I received my Lure Beauty purchase, and as you all know, LB gives CHOKE free samples right? But this time, oh man, they floored me. If you remember my list, I ordered 8 stuffs from them, and guess how many free samples I got?

1. Silky Body Splash Spray (DKNY Be Delicious): It smells just like the original, fruity green apple scent with grapefruit & amber.
2. Luxurious Body Sugar Scrub (David Davidoff Cool Water for men): I haven't opened this one, still refrigerating it : ) but the sugar scrub is BLUE ! o.O
3. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Green Tea & Jasmine): True to its name, an invigorating green tea scent with the calming of jasmine flower, smells amazing
4. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Doodlebug): You know this smells like a bubblegum I used to worship on 4th grade, it smells very fresh & sweet, just like a childhood's supposed to be. ohhhh memories!
5. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Estee Lauder Pleasure): Another amazing dupe, very similar to the Estee Lauder's original scent, feminine & sweet floral.
6. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Crabtree & Evelyn Summer Hill): This one smells AMAAAAAZING! It's better than the Crabtree & Evelyn's version =P
7. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Kama Sutra Passionate Kisses): A fruity fruit punch scent, the description says "Raspberries, Blackberries, and fresh Strawberries with coconut milk & roses". Yummy indeed.
8. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Jelly Belly Pink Lemonade): It reminds me of a pink lemonade, very fruity & sweet, just like a lemonade

What I got for free:

1. Sweetened Honey Soapy Sugar Scrub (L'Occitane Honey): Just like a sweet honey. Slurp.
   
2. Oatmeal Soap (Oatmeal, Milk & Honey): too bad it contains SLS, but it smells delicious.
   
3. Pineapple Enzyme Facial Scrub: it really smells like a real slices of pineapple, very refreshing.
   
4. Mango Butter Face Cream: also, mango scent is lovely. I love fruits, what do you expect? =P
   
5. Light Lotion (Jean Paul Gaultier for Men): I love this, I know it's for men but OMG I love this LoL I think I'm gonna love the Women type too.
6. Exotic Body Butters (Polo for Men): ok, I also love this men fragrance! hahah very deep and sexy...I swear if my bf doesn't want these, I'm gonna use them up lol
7. Exotic Body Butters (Bob Mackie for Women): It smells interesting, a powdery floral with a little bit of spice.
   
8. Exotic Body Butters (Calalily Hawaiian): A tropical fruit with lily floral scent as a top notes.
   
9. Exotic Body Butters (Tropical Twist): Ohhh this is heaven! I detect mango, papaya and coconut blended together...so yum!
   
10. Exotic Body Butters (Philosophy Amazing Grace): dead on amazing grace type, very fresh & clean

Lick Me All Over ^_^

I'm a total sucker for anything smells good, either food, lipstick, or men. LOL..i'm serious, that makes a huge different for me to make a judgment :D

I've been a perfume collector, i think i got it from my mom, whenever she goes abroad she always buy perfumes in Duty Free Shop since it's tax free, so i'm pretty used to smelling many perfumes without getting dizzy. My sister on the other hand HATES perfume, i mean, not even a body spray, weird huh. For me it's another 'fun time' walking around perfume sections at malls or sephora, trying out new perfume, i seriously can spend hours in the same spot hahahah.

So when my birthday came, i wanted to get perfumes for myself, and i decided to get either "Lovely" by Sarah Jessica Parker, "L" by L.A.M.B's Gwen Stef, "Cherry Blossom" by L'occitane, or my(and Aaron's, my bf) all time fav, "Happy Heart" by Clinique. After months of trying out, thinking, and contemplating, I finally got L.A.M.B. But you know, I actually want everything LOL so when I found out Lure Beauty sells knock-off designer fragrance, i was literally JFJ (read: jumping for joy).

I really like Lure Beauty variety of fragrance, not just for perfumes but also for body lotions, body butter, shower gel, and sugar scrub. I visited their site and ordered some goodies:
1. Victoria's Secret Type body mist "Body" $6.25
2. Sarah Jessica Parker perfume oil "Lovely" $6.99
(yay yay yay for me)
3. Lick Me All Over sugar scrub sample $3.25
(gotta love the name !)

and today, THEY HAVE ARRIVED !!!Honestly I've never smelt Victoria's Secret "Body" so I can't make any judgment on how similar this knock-off is, but it smells so fresh and revitalizing. "Lovely" smells just like lovely hehehe, and it stays all day. Lick Me All Over (one of the best seller) smells so yummy, it's a mix of Raspberry, Melon and Citrus ^_^.

And guess what they also sent me, 5 SAMPLES !!

And my Ocean Mist samples also came, I ordered foundation shades in Honey, Tahiti, and Bamboo, a 24K bronzer, Seafoam Green color corrector concealer, and Mineral Finish in Dark Tinted.
