Another Great Mail Day

On my last Earthen Treasure order, my package was switched with someone else and I had to return the one that I received & wait for another week to get mine : ( I like the company but somewhat I still don't get it how such thing could happen, and it's not just me....the MUA forum said there are at least 3 or 4 cases similar to mine.

Anywhoo, I was given $5 gift certificate (yeah, not much but better than nothing) so I used it up to buy 2 Purse Size Moisturizing Body Mist in Vanilla Abricot & Pure Grace dupe.

I have to stress, guys..if you ever buy from Earthen Treasure, get their dupes....they KICK ASS. I swear they smell just like the original, no weird note whatsoever. It's amazing.

the purple pot is a freebies which is Solid Perfume of Burberry The Beat and it smells OH my LORD so good!

Yesterday my lovely Cozy Moment's package got here as well, I was so excited to try out Michelle's scrubs and the one that I bought is Shea Butter Sugar Scrubs in Pink Lime Sugar.

Yup, can't get enough of that scent, it's my favorite at the moment. I am not a fan of citrus and I've noticed the one that always turned me off is when citrus is mixed with cake scent, vanilla, or gourmet note...it's always smells medicine-y to my nose. But not Pink Lime Sugar! I looooooooooooooove Pink Sugar blend (although not to keen of the original Aquolina Pink Sugar) and I think this one is certainly up there on top of the list. I can't wait to try other Pink Sugar blends : )

The consistency is creamier than any sugar scrubs I've ever tried, but I love it, the grain isn't big so it's perfect for those of you who doesn't want scrubby scrub :D I used it last night, smells amaaaaazing, the scent lingers, made my bathroom smells like it ^_^ and it's really moisturizing, perfect for winter.

Michelle sent me freebies, Whipped Body Frosting sample pot of Inner Grace dupe *which I requested* and it smells really fresh and calming.

How lovely that cream looks? Umm...hmm... my all-time, always-reliable Etsy store, Cozy Moments, never fails me. I made an order on Halloween Day, when they had a 20% off sale for all items in the store, I am so tempted with this White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies scent they offer, and I was craving for a nice Bath Cream. People like different kind of bath cream, some likes it hard (like the old Isle of Eden's), some prefer it softer (RFSS or the new IoE), I honestly have no preference. I like all kinds and enjoy them in my own special way : ) Curious on trying e-tailer bath creams, I did search on MUA and found out that Cozy Moments' Bath Cream got so many love votes so I decided to order it.

I convo'd Michelle the owner and asked if I could get samples in Frosted Pink Cupcakes (I've been really curious about this scent as well). She always give out samples with order but mostly sample soaps, not that I'm complaining, I adore her soaps, but I have lots of sample soaps I hardly use. To my surprise, she said she was making Frosted Pink Cupcakes Body Butter and she'll sample it for me. Such a doll.

Ok, so I made the order on Friday, on the next day I had a shipping notice and today the package arrived. HOLY MOLY, 2 days? That's crazy, I thought 3 days was the fastest shipping from mainland to get here, but two?!! *take hat off & bow*

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies smells GREAT, right up my alley. It's creamy, it's sweet, a little bit nutty, and of course...YUMMY. My mailman dropped off the box right after I got out of shower but after I smelled this bath cream, I quickly regretted I didn't wait for it to come hehe I'm gonna shower with this tonight and let you guys know what I think. Frosted Pink Cupcakes is also heaven! It's very pretty and foody at the same time, Pink Sugar blends are always nice, and this one is special. I can quickly get the sugar, butter, fluffy frosting and a little bit of almond. Definitely gonna include this in my next order.


I also received my small order from Valerie's Uncommon Scents where I found my Holy Grail chocolate scent. Their Dark Chocolate scent is seriously to-die-for, I shit you not, I tried MANY chocolate scent and they are very tricky. All of them smell so delicious in the jar/bottle but once it touches my skin, they turn musty and odd. I noticed most of them are 'milky' chocolate so I was searching for the truest chocolate scent, and I found it in Valerie's Uncommon Scents.

I did enjoy their 3 in 1, it's my crack in the shower, I love it a lot and use it almost every day. And then I got greedy, so I wanted it in other form. I decided to try their Hair Conditioner, which is pretty great deal for 8 oz bottle costs $4.99, and made me furious thinking about how much Philosophy charges for their products. I also requested a scent for my sample (hey, never hurts to try, right?) and I got Mint Latte fragrance oil. It smells so yumm-o, like your favorite Latte with minty leaves on top.

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the short MIA, I've been quite busy recently. 2 days ago I went up to North Shore for a day and now my skin is darn burnt. Some people like the red tan lines but geebuzz, that shit hurts like a mo fo.

Anyway I've received some hauls, mainly bath & body products, so here they are:

From Melaleuca:

1st row (L-R) Pain-A-Trate, Body Satin Foot Scrub (2), Nicole Miller Gentle Care Nourishing Eye Makeup Remover
2nd row (L-R) Sun Shades Lip Balm: Pina Colada, Vanilla Bean, Harvest Berry; Melaleuca *Tea Tree* Oil

The only thing I've tried/smelled is the lipbalms, my fav is Vanilla Bean, it smells like a yummy vanilla syrup. Pina Colada smells very true to the drink, pineapple-y with a twist.


From Ebay:

I found it !!! The Body Shop Moonflower Perfume Oil, although I was looking for the body spray, I figured I could make my own body spray by mixing these oil (1/4 teaspoon) with vodka & spring water (4 oz each for 8 oz bottle) These two cost me 22 bucks including shipping, so it wasn't bad for the discontinued product price.

My yummy ALMOST edible stuffs came today and I could smell the yummy-ness when I opened the package!

I got 2 free samples of Goat's Milk Soap in Pumpkin Spice (very nice but a little too spicy for my likings), and Strawberries & Cream (HOLY MOTHER OF SOAP! this smells insanely delicious, the sweetness of the creamy milk mixed with the sour hint of strawberry, it made me craved for some smoothies) Thank you Michelle!

The Bottle on the left is a Protein Hair Mist in Pink Buttercream Marshmallow Cake. This scent is also very lovely, sweet and tickles my sweet tooth inner child =P I sprayed it on my hair today and my bf said my hair smells like a bakery mwahaha. yes it's supposed to be a compliment *roll eyes*

The jar is Goat's Milk & Honey Body Cream in Tiramisu, i.m.o it smells like hazelnut vanilla coffee, so yum but rich, almost too rich if I put too much. So far I still like my Pink Lime Sugar better. The texture is heavier than the Whipped Body Frosting, as you can see in the pic below, it's like a lotion and not as heavy as body cream.

I am very pleased with Cozy Moments, I proved it again in my 2nd order so if you guys would love to try some scrumptious yummy smelling body stuffs, you know where to look : )

3. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Green Tea & Jasmine): True to its name, an invigorating green tea scent with the calming of jasmine flower, smells amazing
4. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Doodlebug): You know this smells like a bubblegum I used to worship on 4th grade, it smells very fresh & sweet, just like a childhood's supposed to be. ohhhh memories!
5. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Estee Lauder Pleasure): Another amazing dupe, very similar to the Estee Lauder's original scent, feminine & sweet floral.
6. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Crabtree & Evelyn Summer Hill): This one smells AMAAAAAZING! It's better than the Crabtree & Evelyn's version =P
7. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Kama Sutra Passionate Kisses): A fruity fruit punch scent, the description says "Raspberries, Blackberries, and fresh Strawberries with coconut milk & roses". Yummy indeed.
8. Exotic Butters Body Cream (Jelly Belly Pink Lemonade): It reminds me of a pink lemonade, very fruity & sweet, just like a lemonade

5. Light Lotion (Jean Paul Gaultier for Men): I love this, I know it's for men but OMG I love this LoL I think I'm gonna love the Women type too.
6. Exotic Body Butters (Polo for Men): ok, I also love this men fragrance! hahah very deep and sexy...I swear if my bf doesn't want these, I'm gonna use them up lol
7. Exotic Body Butters (Bob Mackie for Women): It smells interesting, a powdery floral with a little bit of spice.
   
8. Exotic Body Butters (Calalily Hawaiian): A tropical fruit with lily floral scent as a top notes.
   
9. Exotic Body Butters (Tropical Twist): Ohhh this is heaven! I detect mango, papaya and coconut blended together...so yum!

Cozy Moments Haul & Rant

Before I review my haul, I would like to rant a bit

I just found out my long-live HG fragrance has been discontinued.

It's The Spirit of Moonflower by The Body Shop.

I know I know, it's been discontinued since 1 year ago,
it's probably my fault for not acknowledging the fact and being SUPER LATE about it.

I've tried everything, stores, online, Ebay (2 night ago I lost a bid on Moonflower Body Mist by $.50 !!)

FIFTY FREAKIN CENT !! Internet connection in my I-phone was goddamn slow and the person outbid me when I was still loading. I feel cheated >.<

I was am still so pissed. No one has it anymore. I am looking for the Body Mist or the EDT, and people on Ebay right now are only offering the lotions (with a ridiculous amount of money asked, of course), so right now I am just starting to let it go.

Does anyone have info if your local Body Shop still carry any of Moonflower line?

Ana from Simplicity was nice enough to call The Body Shop in Jakarta, and they also told her the same thing.
No more. Nada. Zero.

*sigh*

I guess I'm gonna mourn in my corner for couple of days.

Onto the good stuff, my order from Cozy Moments arrived yesterday morning, I ordered through their Etsy store, although they have their store here.

They were having a Christmas in July sale a while ago, so I was able to get a pretty good deal.

What I got:

1. Pink Lime Sugar Whipped Body Frosting 4 oz ($5.50)
2. Peppermint Chocolate Oatmeal Creamy Goats Milk Soap ($4.50)

Shipping was overall $4.45 so I guess it's not that bad.

They gave me free samples of their creamy goats milk soap:

1. Amazing Grace (Philosophy Type)
2. Baby Grace (Philosophy Type)
3. Honey I Washed the Kids (LUSH Type)

The Soap smells so divine, just like a choco-mint scent, the crazy thing is I can see the oatmeal on the soap bar:

I used the Pink Lime Sugar whipped body frosting last night, and it smells so fresh & sweet.
Pink Lime Sugar is a blended scent of lime, vanilla, and a splash of pink sugar (Aquolina Type).
I caught a tiny hint of coconut when it dried down, so it's great since I love coconut : )

The texture is very fluffy yet absorb quickly. It's like putting on a baby powder, I swear to God, my skin felt so soft, no slimy, greasy feeling afterwards. Whoever made this is a genius !

Overall I'm very pleased with Cozy Moments and now I'm lemming on their Foaming Sugar Body Polish and Bath & Shower Cream Soap. They have tons of scent I would love to try as well:
pink sugar marshmallow, buttercream frosting, london lemon curd, tiramizu, oatmeal milk & honey.

LoL don't they sound like a menu???
