EOTD: Purple for Fall

Purple is love. Yes, I admit that I buy more purple eye shadows than any other color. It seems like purple is making a comeback this fall as they're seen in many fashion shows & professional photo shoots.

Other than purple, I share as much love for mineral pigments and I have tried many great colors from different companies.

One of the best MMU company that sells matte pigments in particular is Taylor Made Minerals but I was having a hard time making the pigment stick to my lid. Well, my wait is over because today I paired them up with Mehron Paradise Aqua Color Palette and they stick on it like a lovebirds during mating season. Other than TMM, I used some of shimmers from EG Minerals (love!) and Simply Naturals.

I need a masseuse !!!!!

I spent the whole day pressing my pigments, it's definitely harder and more time consuming than I thought it would be...*rub neck & back*.

Everything started with the arrival of my 15 empty palette I bought from Wuzzyangel who is having a sale, she's a doll & kindly included some freebies too ^_^ THANKS hon!!!

So I prepared stuffs I needed like pigments, alcohol, paper towel, a quarter, fabric (I cut an old thin jeans), q-tip, mixing jar, spatula, liquid binder (I used Biosilk because I don't own EZ Press) and flat iron.

I recently received these MAC pigment in swap, so I did 2 different ways of pressing,

• Alcohol & Flat Iron for MAC Pigments
  
• Biosilk + Alcohol for mineral pigments (flat iron is optional)

It's super messy, I'm telling you....plus I'm a clutz so my hands seriously looked like a 3 year old's playing watercolor UNATTENDED. These two pics were only some mess I captured, I had to wash my hands like gazillion times today...thank God for moisturizer!!!

EOTD: White Chocolate Strawberry Truffle

This is a continuation of Valentine series I made, and since the last EOTD was all shimmery now I went back to my beloved love of matte eye shadows from the one & only Ebay 96 Eyeshadow Palette.

Used

• Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in White (as base on inner lid)
• A1 (1/3 inner lid)
• D1 (middle lid, lower lash line)
• C2 (outer 1/3)
• F11 (outer corner)
• TMM Crook (crease & lower lash line)

EOTD: Romantic Valentine

Here's the first look I came up for Valentine eyes, I plan to do some sort of "series" until the V Day approaches. I decided to play around with my mineral pigments (again), and mostly rocking my TSS piggies.
I tho, had to grab TMM (Taylor Made Minerals) color in Coral because it's such an amazing coraly color that pops.

I now realize I probably enjoy TMM better than TSS, just because it's less sparkle and more vibrancy in color department.
