Earthen Treasure $1 Fragrance Sale

Earthen Treasure is one of a few e-tailer I always come back to, especially when I'm in need for a good Department Store fragrance dupe.

Some people have issues ordering from e-tailer for various reasons but mostly the long TAT and unattractive packaging. Well, Earthen Treasure certainly has a very quick TAT & shipping but maybe not the prettiest packaging out there.

For me, I don't really care...it's not like I'm gonna parade them around people, what's important for me is the quality and most definitely, the price. Earthen Treasure price is ridiculous and when I received a newsletter saying they are having a sale, I just couldn't resist.

I ordered on the 29th and received them today, I got myself 6 of their 5 ml Moisturizing Body Mist which only costs $1. ONE FREAKIN' DOLLAR!

Everything smells wonderful and dead on, I have yet to be disappointed by Earthen Treasure designer fragrances, the only duds I found would be their other scent family (food/drink etc) as I haven't had much luck with those...but the dupes are just out of this world.

Another Great Mail Day

On my last Earthen Treasure order, my package was switched with someone else and I had to return the one that I received & wait for another week to get mine : ( I like the company but somewhat I still don't get it how such thing could happen, and it's not just me....the MUA forum said there are at least 3 or 4 cases similar to mine.

Anywhoo, I was given $5 gift certificate (yeah, not much but better than nothing) so I used it up to buy 2 Purse Size Moisturizing Body Mist in Vanilla Abricot & Pure Grace dupe.

I have to stress, guys..if you ever buy from Earthen Treasure, get their dupes....they KICK ASS. I swear they smell just like the original, no weird note whatsoever. It's amazing.

Yesterday my lovely Cozy Moment's package got here as well, I was so excited to try out Michelle's scrubs and the one that I bought is Shea Butter Sugar Scrubs in Pink Lime Sugar.

Yup, can't get enough of that scent, it's my favorite at the moment. I am not a fan of citrus and I've noticed the one that always turned me off is when citrus is mixed with cake scent, vanilla, or gourmet note...it's always smells medicine-y to my nose. But not Pink Lime Sugar! I looooooooooooooove Pink Sugar blend (although not to keen of the original Aquolina Pink Sugar) and I think this one is certainly up there on top of the list. I can't wait to try other Pink Sugar blends : )

The consistency is creamier than any sugar scrubs I've ever tried, but I love it, the grain isn't big so it's perfect for those of you who doesn't want scrubby scrub :D I used it last night, smells amaaaaazing, the scent lingers, made my bathroom smells like it ^_^ and it's really moisturizing, perfect for winter.

Michelle sent me freebies, Whipped Body Frosting sample pot of Inner Grace dupe *which I requested* and it smells really fresh and calming.

Earthen Treasure Haul

Finally my Earthen Treasure order came in today. I had a little bit of problem with this package, I received a box couple of weeks ago, basically after 25 day of TAT (they were closed for a while to process huge orders), I got excited to try my stuffs but when I opened, I found out that they're not mine, the name & address are correct but all the items are definitely someone else's.

So I mailed Barbara (owner) to tell her that she sent a wrong package, and she replied me back, saying sorry & asked me to send the box back to her. She later refunded all the shipping costs and shipped my correct one.

Barbara is nice, she let me revise my order (some scent I wasn't so thrilled about anymore) and said she'd included a gift certificate as an apology for making me wait so long.

Oh well, God bless my patience LoL

*I know all her dupes are awesome, so I ordered mostly her dupes...and I am not disappointed*

• Comptoir Sud Pasifique Amour de Cacao Type: whenever I go to Sephora I always sniff this fragrance and think how gorgeous this chocolate scent is. Now that I received ET version, boy I was floored, it's dead-on, the yummy dark chocolate with vanilla and orange zest. A must have.

• Jessica Simpson Fancy Type: I don't like this miss Romo, but this line is gorgeous (of course, it wasn't her who formulated the fragrance), a very pretty & unique blend, it's fruity, it's floraly, it's foody....seriously. The note is pear, apricot, red fruits, gardenia, jasmine, caramel, almond, creamy crystals and vanilla creme. It's very lovely.

• Miss Dior Cherie Type: oh my sweet Cherie, lovely strawberry & orange with musky and floral drydown. It is tho, very strong, so I don't think I will wear it on day time. Headache giver!

• Ralph Hot Type: yummy caramel & mocha, I am surprise because I must have been thinking something else when ordering, I thought it'd be fruity LoL but it's a pleasant surprise. It's actually not too foody either, like there's a pretty flower in the background. I like it.
  

• Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille Type: you know Serge Lutens is a hardcore fragrance line, by hardcore I meant you should not expect a simple scents, it's so complex I can't even pinpoint what's the note of this one lol. On a cold sniff I got vanilla (doh), sandalwood, and a little bit of almond, but apparently according to the site there's also coconut milk, licorice, tonka bean and some other funky names I've never heard of. Anyway, I love this scent, it's soft yet unique vanilla. yumm...

• Irish Mocha: OH MY GOD, I think Barbara has successfully packed all the true scent of warm chocolate mocha into this spray bottle, seriously, it's very realistic. The scent is more chocolate-y than coffee-y (doesn't it sound retarded? lol) my favorite!!!

• Orange Cream: yummy sweet orange (like blood orange) with vanilla, simple yet delicious.

• Macintosh Apple: the truest, crispiest apple scent ever, I've smelled candyish apple, and I think it's somewhat too sweet, but this one is different.
  

• Blackberry Musk: this is the scent where you go "WTF?" at first sniff, I was disappointed but I decided to apply it on my skin, and I'm glad I did. The drydown is a creamy blackberry and a musk, very true to its name.

• Firefly: Vanilla Bean Noel and lemon blend, it's nice but doesn't set my world on fire.

• Blackberry Filled Butter Cookies: yumm, on cold sniff it smells like car air freshner, very lemon-y (which is weird coz none of the note is lemon/lime) but it dries down to a buttery berry scent.
  

• Kallima: this is probably the least favorite, it says it has buttermint candy, marshmallow cupcakes, and vanilla waffer...but I didn't get any of those, in fact, it smells fruity & sickly sweet on my skin.

I also received a swap with a super nice fellow MUA-ers, I sent out my CYS Pumpkin Whipped Cream roll on which I wasn't too fond of, to sweet for my liking. And I swaped it with Isle of Eden scrubs decants. Marshmallow Snowcake & Strawberry Milkshake Sundae.

Yes, 2 of them :D I was so excited to try new scents from IoE.

Earthen Treasure

I first heard the company when I was watching a youtube video about fragrances and this one girl mentioned about this particular dry oil mist of designer dupe scent from Earthen Treasure and she said it smells FANTABULOUS, just like the original.

I got curious and did some search on my Google master : ) Surprisingly I read many awesome reviews on Makeupalley . So I visited their site and WoOoW they got awesome selections and their prices are cheap-o!

I made an order from ET on August 9th during their 15% sale and their TAT (turn around time) was 11 days, my order was ready to ship on August 22nd so it's not bad.



Unwrapped:

• 2 oz Fluffy Stuff - Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Type
• Purse Size Moisturizing Body Mist - Moschino I Love Love Type
• Purse Size Moisturizing Body Mist - J.Lo Live Luxe Type

I sniffed everything and they all smell great. I've only smelled the real perfume of Coco Mademoiselle & Butterfly, and let me tell you, the ET version smells just like them. Dead freakin' on!

I also got a free solid perfume of Ralph Lauren dupe of Romance & it smells so nice, a blend of Jasmine, Melon. Rose, Musk and Woods.

Ohhhh I love ET products, I will definitely repurchase.


Edit: I used the Coco Mademoiselle lotion on my hand, after couple of hours I washed my hands with soap, but now I can still smell the Coco Mademoiselle!!! OMG awesome staying power!

This is my 2nd order and Kelly never disappoints me with her awesome blend and quick TAT. She's a doll, replied every single mail I sent and answered me in details.

This is the first time I ordered her Sugar Scrub, and everyone has been raving about how nice the structure is and it's moisturizing without leaving an oily feeling. So I had to try, and I asked her to split a Toasted Marshmallow with Vanilla Bean Noel.

I also asked for 2 colors (Pink and Purple) ;P

The scrub smells so delicious, I wanted to eat it. I'll let it cure for a week so it gets stronger & the FO would blend nicely.

I also ordered Aloe Body Mist in Daisy (Marc Jacob type) and Candy Corn Cheesecake Body Lotion:

Both smell lovely, Daisy is another awesome dupe, smells just like the real ones. Candy corn cheesecake reminds me of Halloween, a sweet graham crust with cream cheese, condensed milk, vanilla and almond. Yum.

Mini Jewels:

Amour de Noel (leaked a little bit but nothing wrong with it, smells so yum, choco & vanilla), Sweet Satisfaction (a blend of many cakes note, I slightly notice a coffee note, very yummy and nice for Fall nights), Orange Juice Cake (really fresh, now I can only get the orange scent but I'm sure the cake note will come out after some time), Cousin's Bud Breakfast Biscuit (omaigod, very true biscuit fresh from the oven scent, with blackberry & butter top notes)

Well, it was not Kelly if she didn't give free samples, so she included a lovely Lait Sucre type of Roll on...now it's a surprise because I previously asked her if she still has it, but she told me she doesn't carry it anymore.

How lovely she found one spare and gave it for free!

Lait Sucre is a blend of milk with sweetness of candy and vanilla. I tried it on my wrist and GOOD GRACIOUS NESS !!! It smells like a true condensed milk, the warm one that you drink from your mug on cold winter nights.

I'm so glad I asked for this.


ohhhhhhhh I'm so overwhelmed right now, everything just smells so delicious and I can't wait to try them all.
