The nail polish is called Bon Bon from Orly Sugar Coated Spring Collection. I believe it normally costs around $7.
This is the color that made me go OH CRAP how am I gonna pull that off?! when I saw it. I received it from swap and it looks like a mushroom gray weird color.
But kids, never judge the book by it's cover (says yo momma!) and I have to say I was utterly surprised on how unique this color actually looks.
Now let me tell you about this sucker mother father, the first layer is pretty sheer and gave me a weird "I'm freezing!!" purplish gray color, but the second layer and third makes the color more opaque. It's still not 100% opaque but OH MY LORD, isn't it the longest lasting nail polish evaaaaaaah.
I applied them 7 days ago, no base coat no top coat and today they haven't chipped. I am not kidding, I ran errands, washed dishes with hot water (not warm, mind you..), I even swam, and yet Bon Bon are still looking brand new on my nails. I am truly at awe.
Another amazing thing about it, is that they are no streaks at all, the application is very smooth and easy, no bubbles nor streaking. They also dry very quickly. Bon Bon has a cream/sheer finish and I absolutely love the color. It's office-friendly in my opinion, and they actually matches my skin tone pretty well. I was mainly concern about how a greyish mushroom color would look on my tan skin. I guess not too shabby eh?
