Trying Out Mehron

Today finally I had a chance to try my Mehron Palette and I couldn't think of a better pair than Heavenly Naturals pigments. I decided to create a smokey look using gold, red, pink, and deep plum color but I chuckled when I saw the result because it felt like a deja vu. I've done similar look some time ago which you can see here, the only difference probably the gold color and the pigmentation. Perfect for comparison, no? =P

Anyway, since Mehron doesn't have a name, I just pointed out the color I used. I wet my taklon brush, and create a paste-y consistency on the palette & apply on lid. Prior to application I slathered Too Faced Shadow Insurance to make the colors more blendable.

I forgot to take a picture after I applied Heavenly Naturals Doll Face on my lower lash line,
and EG Minerals Cafe Au Lait as highlighter. After that I applied Maybelline Full'n'Soft Mascara & L'oreal HiP Cream Liner in Black.

The Result

My verdiect: Mehron is an awesome eyeshadow base!!! It doesn't crease, it doesn't smear and it's very blendable at the same time...GO GET THEM !! ^_^

Product Focus: Heavenly Naturals

I was so excited for this particular haul because I have been on search for a true golden pigment that doesn't look yellow or washed out. My closest pick would be Taylor Made Minerals Centaur but somehow I couldn't drag my ass ordering from TMM....don't get me wrong, I love Taylor & her gorgeous pigments but I felt like getting from a new seller.

So after a long time searching, I found this Heavenly Naturals seller on Etsy and when I Googled, I found many positive feedback from whoever bought from her. Heavenly Naturals is a mineral makeup company which does not only offer gorgeous pigments, but also foundation, blushes, lip care, brushes, and even scrubs!

I talked to the owner named Rene, who is uber gorgeous btw, and noticed she has a gold vibrant pigment called COUTOUR, so quickly I ordered it and other samples.
Coutour is a true 24K gold and it's very vibrant on the jar. The pigments that Heavenly Naturals sell are all TOP NOTCH, they show up vibrantly without any base, and I'm gonna prove it to you really soon...

Honoring Saint Patrick's Day, I was inspired by the whole shamrock-associated colors (green & gold) to do this look and I am featuring Heavenly Naturals. I hope you enjoy! =)

First of all, I wanted to clarify that I don't use any eyeshadow bases prior to application just so you can see the true pigmentation for these pigments. Here are what I used for this look (Coutour, Sea Dragon & Lemy-Lime)

Here are the step-by-step tutorial (I didn't use ANY eyeshadow base just to show you how pigmented Coutour color is)

and then I finished off with EG Minerals Cafe Au Lait to my browbone to highlight,
NYX Doll Eye Mascara, and L'oreal HiP Creme Liner in Black.

please don't mind the wonky liner ^^
