Mascara Meticulous (pt.1)

So I just realized I have 7 mascaras lying around, and it's mostly because I don't throw away mascara every 3 months...The reason is, I just don't wear nakeup that often and throwing them away just feels wasteful to me....unless they smell like death.

Maybe you all know my HG Mascara so far is Maybelline Full n' Soft and throughout this test I am assured that it still is, until I find a new one that would wow me, better than Fn'S.

So without further ado, here they are

Before I start, I want to clarify that they are all in BLACK and this would be a review of 4 out of 7 mascaras shown

Prior to application, I curled my lashes with E.L.F Eyelash Curler (the 1 dollar butt-kicking curler!)

  • Maybelline Full n' Soft
Verdict: I LOVE this baby, it makes my lashes look full, and although it doesnt do too much lengthening, I am very pleased with the result, makes lashes look really really full but natural at the same time. The brush has a full head, makes it so easy to wiggle & create the fullness, and this is a waterproof formula so it does hold the curl very well. The only con is probably the scent...smells like Sharpie to my nose.

  • NYX Doll Eye Mascara
Verdict: this one is the Long Lash one and is my 2nd favorite. The wand isn't originally bent, I did it in purpose to simplified application to my inner corner as this wand is pretty long. If you look closely, you can see tiny fibers on each bristle which does the 'lengthening' job. This one is not waterproof but it does pretty good job holding up the curl. It also makes my lash looks seperated, which I'm not sure if it's a good/bad thing...I kinda like how my lashes look with this mascara.

  • Eyeko Mascara
Verdict: I am actually pretty surprise with this mascara, not a fan of a thin brush and the spiral bristle was pretty intimidating at first, but when I applied, it does make my lashes look extraordinaire. It's not waterproof so the curl holding power it's just ok. The formula for this macara is the thickest among these four and somewhat it makes my lashes look very black. What I don't like about this is the fact that it's very wet so it takes time to dry up, and I found a little clumping.

  • Tarte Lights, Mascara, Lashes!
Verdict: Meh. Not a fan..which is tragic because it's the most expensive I have hahaha...I got it from Sephora Beauty Insider points but I hardly use it because it doesn't hold my curl AT ALL. It went from curl to straight once I applied this mascara, which is very frustrating. Regardless the fact, I love the brush, it's fat! haha

hope you find this helpful, stay tune for part 2 !!! ^_^

Love:
  • The price is great for 1.29 Fl oz
  • Sink right in and very easy to blend
  • Gives a healthy bronzey glow
  • Scent is not bothering me
  • Shipping is FREE on every order!
Loathe:
  • The cream color IN the jar is somewhat scary dark, but it disappear once it touches your skin & blended out

Inan sez:
I have a medium tan skin than is easily tan under over sun exposure so it's always challenging for me to find a good tinted moisturizer that doesn't make me look ghastly and match my skin tone.

I was lucky enough to be able to try this Eyeko product although primarily I got an impression they would send me the original Eyeko 3 in 1 cream. But I'm glad they didn't because I know I would LOVE this one much better.

Eyeko Tinted Cream is a great 3 in 1 product (tinted moisturizer, highlighter, and eye cream) especially if you're looking for a healthy skin in a minute or 'I just spent 5 hours laying under the sun' glow, you can apply this on wherever the light hits your face: nose bridge, cheekbones, cupids bow, and temple. You can also mix it with your moisturizer to gives a healthy dewy finish whenever you're lazy applying foundation & bronzer. This is so versatile!!!

If you're interested to try one, check out their website here, and remember to enter a code E240 during checkout on purchase £10 or more and you'll get FREE STUFF.

Shipping is always FREE with Eyeko so go get yourself a nice glow for Spring & Summer !!!

Eyeko Love !

I'm now officially an Eyeko Ambassador

For those of you who have not heard of Eyeko, it's a London-based cosmetic company whose makeup line is influenced by Manga twist and Japanese flavor.

Eyeko Beauty has been featured heavily in many international titles including Vogue, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, OK! and Allure.

It's all start of with their famous Eyeko Cream 3-in-1 (which is still be their No.1 seller), it can be used as Moisturizer, Highlighter and Eye Cream. Infused with skin perfecting light reflectors and antioxidant Vitamins A& E plus a Vitamin C boost for a radiant, clear complexion.

Now they came out with the new version of the cream which is called Eyeko Tinted Cream. "For radiant skin and a sun kissed glow try NEW Eyeko 3-in-1 Tinted Cream. Treat skin to the same luxuriously whipped texture made with super hydrating Jojoba boosted with antioxidants Vitamins A & E plus Vitamin C for a luminous finish as our No.1 bestseller Eyeko Cream."

I also love how cute their Eye Beauty Eye Shadows are, they come in lovely pans with 3 different types,

And here is my favorite....NAIL POLISHES !!
aren't they adorable?

The price is VERY REASONABLE, for Nail Polishes it's only £3.00 which is around $5. Eye shadows, Tinted Cream and Eyeko Cream are all £5.00 which is around $8.

Now, here's the best part, they're FREE SHIPPING all over the world on every order.

Yes, you read it right....free shipping to wherever you are, and if you put a code E240 during checkout, you will get a FREE PRODUCT on every order you make.

So go check out Eyeko website here and don't forget to mention the code : )
Happy Shopping, ladies !!!
