I promised my friend Yuko on Vox to do Neutral EOTDs, and yesterday I went out coz my bf wanted to reserve a new Play Station 3 Metal Gear Solid IV console, he hasn't bought PS3 yet and think this would be the best deal since he's also a fan of MGS.
Anyway, I decided to try out a Kirkland palette from Costco which I got a while ago, I got this along with my Kirkland lipsticks & lipglosses inside a makeup case set, so I have no idea how much this should cost alone. The colors are mostly matte, I'm quite surprised because they're actually not bad, I don't expect the super pigmentation like NYXs or TSS but I would say it's decent for a low end brand.
As you see this palette contains 10 colors, you can slide the top layer and find two brushes applicator along with a long mirror.
From these palette I used the two colors in the middle, Chocolate & Khaki.
These are what I use:
- UDPP
- Kirkland: Khaki (inner corner, 1/3 lid)
- KATE by Kanebo: shimmery opaque color (middle lid)
- Kirkland: Chocolate (outer V, up to the crease)
- NYX: Aloha (highlight)
- Revlon Liquid Eyeliner *I ran out of this in the middle of application!! gahhhhhh so pls bare with the messy looking liner*
- Rimmel Soft Kajal Pencil Eyeliner (lower lid)
- Maybelline Full'n'Soft mascara
Jordana Lipgloss: Natural

nice neutral FOTD. :) my boyfriend already pre-ordered metal gear solid IV like a week or two ago or something like that... and he pre-ordered the limited edition one. LOLOL. oh well, i <3 my nerd. he's thinking of calling off friday (since it's released on thursday) just so he can play it all night on Thursday. LOLOLOL.

couple days ago when my bf found out how much those things costs, he glanced at me while I was putting on makeup and said "You're lucky the things you love don't cost you arm & leg..."

Thanks for the review! I've seen Costco make their own line of makeup, but never bought it. Okay, I did buy their mascara once but it wasn't that great.

Audge: Kirkland is just alright imho, their lipglosses are quite nice, these palette is also ok, doesn't rock my socks like NYX does, but it's decent. I also got the mascara with the set but have yet to try...maybe I wouldn't if you said it's not good LOL

wow!!! kirkland makeup? The only kirkland product I think we have here are vitamins hahaha wowwwww..it looks good, doesn't look powdery and i can see the colors on your eyes!!!! it's a great neutral look, actually you look really good and "fresh" on it :)

Nikki, yeah they're branching out now, in fact most of my makeup brushes are from Kirkland : ) not too bad, I must say.
