EDITTED
Ok, lesson learnt....don't publish a new post at 3 AM when you're too sleepy to function. It's WANTED not TAKEN as I typed before, thanks to Lela for correcting me.........
LOL it's embarrassing but funny at the same time...oh well =)

For this look I am taking an inspiration from her, meaning I won't be 100% copying what she had because obviously I have different eye shape and what looks good on her might not look good on me. Thus, the basic concept is followed, which is a smoked out brown/black with a neutral lid color.
Here's an interesting twist I did, I actually didn't use any eyeshadow for my lid, and it came out pretty good. I used mostly Kat Von D Beethoven palette for the black, brown & highlighter color, black eye liner pencil and a mascara. Simple but sexy.
So without further ado, here is a screen shot I took where she has the smoky eye. This is the clearest I could find, so hope you guys get the idea.
Product Used

* Apply black pencil eye liner on upper & lower lash line and smudge them
* Mix Leather & Lucifer, apply on crease & blend towards inside eye socket
* Take time blending, the color should get lighter as it travels to the inner part
* Apply Leather & Lucifer on lower lash line too
* Apply Tequila as brow bone highlighter
* Curl lashes & use your favorite mascara
Hope you guys like it =)

ReplyDeletei think it was the movie "Wanted".... not "Taken". but yeah the eye look is beautiful. i would have loved seeing your whole face with the added lippie cuz..well...that's what Angie is known for. ;) but all in all i absolutely LOVE your blog. you recommend places that i already love so much (like Garden of Wisdom, EG Minerals, Etsy stores, etc.) and the places i've never heard of sound interesting because i trust you know what's good and what's not. plus the proof is in the pudding - you're a gorgeous girl with great taste. i just adore you!!
ReplyDeletebtw, your blog is staying in my bookmark list permanently. :)
